John Logan Brouhard, 24, a lifetime resident of Wamego, Kansas died unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 20, 2012.

John was born February 4, 1988 in Manhattan, Kansas, the son of Ronald Leon Brouhard and Janice Marie Keelan. He attended Wamego Schools from grade school thru his senior year at Wamego High School. Following high school, he worked at several area businesses, including working at Manko Windows of Manhattan from 2007 thru 2011. John was an avid BMX bike rider and also a skilled skateboarder. He was very mechanically minded and enjoyed repairing things, keeping himself busy, being outdoors, and doing things with his family.

He is survived by his mother and father, Janice Keelan and Ed Faiola of Wamego, KS; three sisters, Jessie Johnson and her husband Steve of Wamego, Ashley Faiola of Wamego, Tarah Elston and husband Justin of Overland Park, KS; two nieces, Sara and Kyla Johnson and two nephews, Colby Johnson and Aiden Elston.

A private celebration of John’s life will be held and announced by the family. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the John Brouhard Memorial. Donations may be left in care of Stewart Funeral Home, P.O. Box 48, Wamego, KS 66547.
